Yáhadi'táhii' (Equiptment)

Today I got the first of my "essentials for cowboying." I think I'm just going to wear work boots for the rest of my life. The nearly two inch heel makes me about the 6' tall I've always dreamt of being. Aside from those boots I think I already have a complete western sense of style what with 80% of my wardrobe being plaid shirts. The new ones I've gotten are a lot thicker material though what with the actual work I'll be doing in them.

I tried to wear mom's old Stetson today but it's too tiny. This means cowboy hat shopping in Albuquerque.
I also got some more information today about the living conditions which sounded a lot nicer than I had been anticipating. I guess I had kinda just figured hired help on a ranch didn't get modern things but (hopefully) I'm mistaken.
Again, don't give up on this blog yet. Not before it's even started at least. Tales of ropin' and ridin' and rattlesnakes on the cattle run soon to follow.
